Don’t be afraid to be upside down!
Inversions encourage fresh blood flow, a slow steady breath and focus. Whether you have never been upside down in your life or if you’re modern day gymnast this workshop has something for you. All levels welcomed! Get one-on-one attention that guides you in and out of a safely practiced inversion. Saturdays in March, we will explore not only what it means to be upside down, but what it means to breathe in a different manner.
Not only Headstands, we will visit Shoulder Stand, Plough and Bridge pose. All great inversions, with sprinkles of Flow to prep and warm up the body.
Each session will end in Savasana and meditation
When: March 3rd, 10th, 24th & 31st

I am a Berkeley native, East Bay baby all the way. Being raised around artists, musicians, and educators, the yogic lifestyle was a familiar culture that I attempted to explore in 2009. As a dance major in college, I took my first yoga class only to hate it. It would take 5 years to revisit the practice. This time more mature and no longer dancing. Having switched to a physically demanding visual stylist career for many years after college, I had begun developing intense back pain, so I came back to the practice. I fell in love with the results after a few months, but not just the physical body, I noticed how much more calm and aware I was. After studying and consistently practicing, I knew I had to tell my people (Baydesterians) about the magical world of yoga, so I completed my 200 hr teacher training with Yoga to the People in 2015. Coining the title, Your Local Yoga Dealer, I currently teaching at various locations in the Bay Area and San Francisco.
