Erin Wood, M.S.O.M

I am a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture, herbs, dietary therapy, moxibustion, cupping, and acupressure. My specialties are stress reduction, orthopedics, cancer-support, improving digestion, and boosting immunity. My goal is to share the tools of Chinese Medicine with our community, so folks feel empowered and uplifted by having more strategies to find balance; in their bodies, minds, and spirits. Acupuncture can offer that hope of having a pain-free moment and a respite from the hectic world. Such calming respites give us the will to go back out there and do the work we are meant to do.I have worked in a variety of settings, both in public health and private practice, such as in a hospital on Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, at several senior centers in the East Bay,at the Downtown Oakland Kaiser CDRP (chemical dependency recovery program), in Yoga for Grief workshops, and in a few community acupuncture clinics.
